Make a difference in your community – join our Board of Directors

As a not-for-profit organization, Fraserside is governed by a Board of Directors – volunteers from the community who share the mission and vision of the organization and are responsible for its well-being.

Members of the Board come from different backgrounds, however, all share a commitment to the goals of Fraserside and giving back to the communities in which they live and work.

Board members are responsible for the governance and accountability of the organization. This includes five key areas:

  • Strategic planning (Fraserside’s mission, vision, and direction)
  • Financial health of the organization
  • Human resource planning
  • Organizational operations
  • Community relations

Positions are voluntary and Board directors are not remunerated for their services.
