Director - Dan Walsh

Director since

Throughout my life I have always been drawn to economics and financial analysis. In particular I enjoy problem solving, be it course curriculum or real life applications. I found it exciting and challenging when given a complex problem, asked to identify the relevant information, and then package it together in a well thought-out solution.

As an advisor at Edward Jones, I have found a career that allows me to continue my passion for analysis and problem solving. Everyday, I meet with clients to discuss their individual goals and determine what's important to them. As we build strong relationships with our clients we are able to construct well thought out solutions tailored to each individual, family, or business owner that we work with.

When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with family and friends, ideally skiing on snow or water. For nearly twenty years, I have worked with the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance and the Canadian Ski Coach Federation in support of youth in alpine sport as an Instructor and Coach. The energy I get from coaching a team of athletes helps keep my mind young, if only it had the same effect on the body.

More recently I have been afforded the opportunity to volunteer my time with Fraserside.  This is a new chapter for  me and I look forward to being able to contribute my knowledge and energy to help others.
