Fraserside earns highest CARF standard
June 7, 2017
CARF Canada announced today that Fraserside is accredited for three years.
“This achievement is an indication of your organisation’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served,” says Brian Boon, president and CEO of CARF Canada.
“Our programs, our business functions and our Board of Directors have all achieved the standards that are defined by CARF and those standards indicate that we adhere to the best practices established in the sector,” says Lynda Edmonds, Fraserside’s CEO. “We really appreciate our employees, including the frontline workers, supervisors, managers and board of directors, who worked very hard to make this happen.”
The three-year accreditation is the highest standard that CARF issues.
CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is an independent nonprofit organisation focused on advancing the quality of services nonprofit organisations use to meet the needs of people they serve for the best possible outcomes.
