Fraserside is a non-profit multi-service organization providing quality services to individuals and families in New Westminster, Burnaby, Delta, Surrey and the Tri-Cities.

CARF

Fraserside is a CARF accredited agency which means we comply with an international set of standards for providing Community Services.

When an organization is being accredited, a team of international surveyors come into the agency and study the policies and procedures of that organization. They then meet with staff, management and board members on a one to one basis to determine if the front line follows and is aware of what the organization has on paper in their procedure manuals and strategic plan.  The surveyors also speak with clients and stakeholder to get feedback from the people receiving the service and to get a feel for the agency’s relationship to the community.

In 2002, 2005 2008, and 2011 Fraserside was accredited for 3 year terms (the longest accreditation period an organization can get).  CARF standards are constantly changing and improving.  Each year we review our policies and procedures and make any changes necessary to keep up to date with any new standards that may have been put in place so that we are ready for our next survey in 2014.
